To make sure you are covered in the event of an accident on the slopes, ESF Abondance highly recommends that you sign up for SnowRisk Insurance. You can purchase it at the lift-pass ticket windows at the resort. SnowRisk guarantees you all the insurance and assistance necessary for a worry-free time on the slopes.  

ATTENTION: first-aid assistance in the mountains is not free and is the responsibility of the injured party.

SnowRisk goes into immediate effect and covers search and rescue costs as well as medical repatriation. In the event that your stay in cancelled (and you signed up for coverage before your stay) insurance will refund the cost of lift passes and ESF lessons reserved and paid for in advance. 

In the event that your stay is interrupted because of an accident, illness or early departure, insurance will refund you the cost of lift passes and lessons for the days that they were not used.
